Today Nativity began its Vacation Bible School. I am a crew leader again this year. This means I have a small group of 7 children, ages 5-10. We dance, listen to a Bible story, make crafts, pray, have a snack (today was Peter's Jail Mix!) and then collapse. Except I then had some meetings and work to do--so I collapsed later. I'm home now, resting and getting ready for day two.
When asked where she saw God today, one little girl announced "I saw a bird eat a worm" (except it sounded like "I saw a buuuud eat a wuuuuum").
I saw God today too, in the eyes of tiny children.
